At 22, Hardik Patel threatens to rewrite Gujarat Politics

Hardik Patel (22), founder of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS), has emerged a strong youth leader in Gujarat, he is leading powerful Patel community’s ongoing stir to demand reservation in jobs and education within the quota for Other Backward Classes in Gujarat.

Son of a BJP leader, he does not have any political affiliation yet. Around 5 lakh people turned up at a recent rally called by Hardik. His team is making best use of social media, including Facebook and WhatsApp. Hardik has claimed to have 25 lakh people on his next rally.
