To add insult to injury, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan called Singhal a terrorist. Remarks were expunged from the records after BJP MLAs protested.
Singhal, the architect of the campaign that led to the razing of the 16th century Babri mosque in Ayodhya in 1992, died in a Gurgaon hospital following kidney and heart problems.
