O Panneerselvam has been expelled from the primary membership of the party. All OPS loyalists, including Ma Foi Pandiarajan, Pandian and Ponnaiyan, were also sacked.
Palanisamy, a staunch Jayalalithaa loyalist, has written to Governor, staking claim to form the Government. The Governor is yet to take a stand on this matter. Meanwhile, OPS has appealed the MLAs to come along with him and save AIADMK from disintegration.
