All India Majlis-e-Itttehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has announced that his party would contest 25 seats in the upcoming assembly polls in Bihar, while addressing a rally in Kishanganj. He also decided to field former RJD MLA Akhtarul Iman from Kishanganj as the AIMIM candidate. Owaisi slammed all Bihar leaders, including Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav, holding them responsible for lack of development in Bihar.
AIMIM’s entry into Bihar politics, may spoil the permutations and combinations for the Grand Alliance, as they pinned hope to get all Muslim votes.
