The three engineers were working in a Jindal Steel company in the area, they hailed from Punjab , Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, as per the company officials. It is reported that the three engineers were gone near the areas after their duty. According to the police, the incident was occurred in the wee hours. Police believe that the trio might have slipped into water and drowned.
In another tragic incident, two minor boys aged 7 and 14 years drowned at Bilagoan village under Patana police station limits in Keonjhar district. Police said that the duo went to pond for bathing and drowned. After the incident, they were rushed to Karanjia government hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
