Another Farmer ends life in Keonjhar District

Keonjhar, Oct 20: Another farmer allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in Kolimati village in Keonjhar district due to crop fail and debt on Tuesday morning.  This is the second death in last two days in the state. The deceased has been identified as Bhajahari Madhei.

According to reports, Madhei had taken loan from private persons for agriculture activities this year.  He suffered huge loss due to crop failure, which said to be the main reason behind his committing suicide. Notably, on Monday Basudev Bhoi, a farmer of Ghusuramuda village in Balangir district allegedly committed suicide due to crop loss.
