Expert team to take stock of Swargadwar Road in Puri

A six member team of experts from Water Resources Department will visit Puri in order to take stock of the deteriorated road near the holy Swargadwar in Puri  due to beach erosion in last few days.

Notably, the surging sea waves have lashed the beach in last two days, threatening to wash away the road near Swargadwar.

Puri Collector Arvind Agrawal informed the Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi about the present situation of Puri sea beach. The expert team will try to stop the ingress of sea water so that it does not enter into the town, Agarwal said.
