The Odisha government has directed for the regularization for Ganasikhyak as Zila Parisad Teacher after the completion of 6 years of service but some S.C. & S.T. Ganasikhyaks were not regularized despite their eligibility, alleged the tribal members of the organisation here.
They said Bolangir collector –cum- C.E.O, Zila Parishad has appointed 211 Zila Parisad Teachers and 69 Ganasikhyaks were regularized. But the appointment of SC and ST teachers were cancelled following the orders were issued by the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to School and Mass Education Department. Future of 8130 Ganasikhyaks belong to the tribal community has been under question mark. They urged the Chief Minister for his intervention into the matter.
