Similarly, the revenue collection from non-tax sources has been more than Rs. 2334 cr. showing a growth of around 13% over the last year during the same period. The overall revenue generation from both these sources have been Rs. 10,935 cr. by end of August recording a growth of around 28% over the last year. Corresponding the growth in revenue generation, the State Plan Expenditure has also shown a growth of around 65% during the current fiscal by end of August.
While appreciating the efforts of revenue earning and spending departments, Chief Secretary Sri Pati advised the Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of various departments to strengthen monitoring and supervision at filed level and fasten the process of implementation of the developmental projects in a time bound manner.
The directors of various departments have been asked to take up more number of field visits and give regular feed back to Govt. Chief Secretary also advised the departments to take up interdepartmental coordinated activities in implementation of the flagship programmes like Housing for all, IPR,2015, Ease of doing business in Odisha and smart city etc. The Development Commissioner Sri U.N. Behera, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Sri Adiyta Prsad Padhi along with Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of all departments participated in deliberations.
