She broke a 16 year old record and created a new national record. Dutee also broke the record of Rachita Panda of Odisha who set it in 2000.
Dutee clocked 11.33 seconds to finish her race. She also broke the 100-metre qualifying time of 11:32 seconds for the ensuing Rio Olympics. While Olympics qualifying score stands at 11.32 seconds. So she missed out to qualify for Olympics.
