Normal life was thrown out of gear in the Steel City Rourkela as Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists started observing bandh from dawn-to-dusk on Saturday in protest against the ‘partial’ action on the ‘objectionable’ message posting in social media case.
Traffic came to standstill and silent as Shops, market, schools, colleges and offices remained closed in most parts of the city.
Passengers were unable to leave somewhere because of this bandh and waiting at the bus stand to leave for their respective destinations.
