Lokesh Rahul was out for 110. Rohit Sharma scored 53. Suresh Raina’s Test comeback ended on a disastrous note, as he was out for first-ball duck. Virat Kohli is still batting on 140, while Wriddhiman Saha is on 14. It was Kohli’s 4th Test hundred in this series. He also surpassed Rahul Dravid to become the highest run-getter for India in a Test series in Australia.
For Australia, Mitchell Starc and Shane Watson took two wickets each. India still need 31 runs more to avoid a follow-on, which is no difficult task now. But, India will try to reach the safety by garnering as many as runs it can on Day 4.
