Yuvraj Singh gives Fitting Reply to BCCI with Bat

He battled a deadly cancer to return to the game of cricket. He played well, but fizzled out later, which forced the BCCI selectors to ignore his claims for the 2015 World Cup. Not part of the 30-member probables for the WC, Yuvraj Singh has given a fitting reply to the BCCI with a superb show in Ranji Trophy.

With a fine knock of 182 against Saurashtra, Yuvraj has now scored 520 runs in just five innings this season, while playing for Punjab. He scored 59, 130, 136 and 13 in previous innings.

Despite this superb performance, in-form Yuvraj is unlikely to get a second chance to play in 2015 World Cup. But, the BCCI selectors as well as Team India will miss his services. Remember, he was one of the key people, who helped India win 2011 World Cup.
