Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first. In-form batsman Chibhabha scored 67 off 51 balls, as Zimbabwe posted 145/7 in 20 overs against India in the second and final T20 match today. Masakadza scored 19. For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohit Sharma took two wickets each.
The Indian batsmen failed to live up to the expectations today during the run chase. Barring Uthappa (42), no other top order batsmen could perform. Stuart Binny was the other batsmen, who showed some resistance, but perished at 24. Sanju Samson made 19.
India finished at 135/9 in 20 overs and lost the match by 10 runs. For Zimbabwe, Cremer took three wickets. Chibhabha was declared ‘Man of the Match’. India had won the ODI series 3-0.
