The victim was identified as Veronica J. Rutledge of Blackfoot city. Her minor son grabbed a gun from her purse and shot at the victim at point-blank range.
She died at the scene and accidentally the boy shot at her mother, said a spokesman for the Kootenai County sheriff’s office to media.
When the accident took place, the boy was seated in shopping cart. And, her mother was shopping in the electronics department of WalMart in Idaho.
The victim came to WalMart with three girls under age of 11 — relatives of the boy. After the incident, victim’s husband rushed there.
