BJP’s Delhi Unit Vice President Kuljit Singh Chahal put the hoardings, which asks Kejriwal why Rs 526 crore is being spent on self-promotion instead of being spent on installing 5 lakh cameras on women’s security, setting up 200 new schools and 50 new colleges, launching 2,000 new buses, providing drinking water to 1,000 unauthorized colonies, providing pension to 5 lakh families for one year or giving employment to 1 lakh unemployed youths.
The Delhi High Court has recently pulled up the Delhi Government for self-promoting advertisements, which sought to eulogize Arvind Kejriwal and called it as a ‘wastage of public money’. As the court demanded a status report from Kejriwal Government, the Ads were withdrawn from the TV channels and hoarding were removed from the streets.
