Innovative ‘Kinder-Orland’ curriculum is imparted from Nursery to UKG. CBSE is offered as the national curriculum from Grade 1 to 12. The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), Cambridge, UK (for Grade 8, 9, 10) and The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Geneva (for Grade 11 & 12) are offered as international curriculum. It has the distinction of being the first school in eastern India authorized to offer IBDP curriculum. The workshops featured modules like ‘Explore the world through Shakespeare’, ‘Our shared history – World War I’, ‘Use of ICT to write short reports, stories and case studies’, ‘Child protection’ and ‘Active learning through science’. The module on ‘child protection’ is compulsory for all participants. The workshop was part of Connecting Classrooms programme of the British Council. A team of UK and Indian experts led the professional development programme for the teachers. They included Tracy Irish, Warwick Business School Shakespeare Scholar at The University of Warwick, Timothy Gerrish, International Child Protection expert, Alison Willmott, education consultant, Baldev Singh of Imagine Education Ltd and Vimala Oak and Rekha Bajaj from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
