The sleuths have deposed the prime accused Himadri and Ayesh before the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Nimapada today following expiry of four-day remand. The court allowed crime branch police for six-day remand of prime accused for further investigation.
It is noteworthy that, on September 21, Dinabandhu Mallick, retired inspector of schools, his wife and two daughters were murdered at their residence by Himadri and Ayesha. The couple after killing all four members in the night decamped from there with cash, gold and vehicle. They were arrested by Crime Branch sleuths from Assam.
