The Darus of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra were found at these three locations, where now shrines will be built. This decision was taken in a meeting of the temple administration on Monday, said Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, chief administrator.
The administration said that shrine will not be built at Gadakuntunia, where Daru of Lord Sudarshana was found, since it’s located on a river embankment. Mahapatra said all four locations including Gadakuntunia, will be provided with a chariot wheel as a memento.
The owner of the plot, where Lord Jagannath’s daru was located, will be given around three lakh rupees for the loss sustained by him.
