Serving ultimatum to the Odisha government to take a decision by November end on the OAT abolition, the Lawyers body said that they will continue the protest by wearing black badges.
Notably, Odisha cabinet had approved the decision to abolish OAT on September 9. The lawyers across joined the stir initiated by OAT lawyers opposing the decision on September 15.
The tribunal was established in 1986 for the redress of government employees grievances. In India eight states including Odisha have such tribunals and three states have already abolished.
