Titilagrh Poll Case: Surendra Singh Bhoi fined by HC

Former Congress MLA Surendra Singh Bhoi has been fined Rs. one lakh by the Orissa High Court, which quashed the case against Titilagarh MLA Tukuni Sahu. Bhoi was slammed by the court for wasting its time by levelling false allegations and filing a case.

Surendra Singh Bhoi, who lost to Tukuni Sahu in Titilagarh in 2014 assembly polls, had moved the HC, requesting the court to disqualify the BJD MLA and term her election as illegal.
