Using the gold-handled broom and sprinkling holy water with sandal, Puri Gajapati Dibya Singh Deb conducted the most important ritual of Nabakalebara Rathyatra – ‘Chhera Panhara’ in front of the chariots of the deities – Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. Pulling of chariots – Taladhwaja, Darpadalan and Nandighosh, will begin shortly.
