Narendra Modi to become 6th Indian PM to address U.S. Congress

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to address the the U.S. Congress later this evening. He will become the 6th Indian PM to do so. Modi has already thanked the U.S. Congress for inviting him.

It’s PM Modi’s 4th visit to the United States ever since he took over as the Prime Minister of India. Thanks to his continuous efforts, India got an entry to the 35-member Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) and took a step forward towards Nuclear Suppliers’ Group (NSG) membership. India became the first country in the world to join MTCR without signing Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
