PM Modi meets Chinese President Xi Jinping in ‪‎Tashkent‬

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tashkent on Thursday to attend the annual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). Prime Minister today met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Tashkent.

Modi held a bilateral meeting with the President of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Xi Jinping, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Mr. Modi is expecting to get China’s support for India’s membership at the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).

Mr. Modi said India looks forward to fruitful outcome from its engagement at the SCO summit which is a key meeting of the Nuclear Suppliers Group in Seoul.

India’s bid for NSG membership will come up tonight at a special post dinner meeting of the 48-nations.
