8.3 Magnitude Earthquake hits Chile, Tsunami Alerts Issued

A powerful earthquake, measuring 8.3 on Richter Scale, has hit the Chilean Coast, triggering panic all over. A tsunami alert has been issued and people have been asked to avoid the coastline. Waves of up to 15ft high, were reported from the coastline of Chile. The epicentre was out at sea, 246 km from Santiago. So, there was no massive damage.
