Bhubaneswar: Lingaraj Temple Re-opens from today

After remaining closed for several months, Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar re-opened for devotees from today. At once, only 100 devotees will be allowed from Lion’s Gate to the Ada Katha, the wooden wall of the temple.

It is compulsory for all devotees to furnish double dose vaccination certificate before entering the Lingaraj Temple. However, no devotees will be allowed inside the ‘Garva Griha’ or the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

The devotees will have to wear masks and follow proper social distancing guidelines, as set by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. The sevayats have been directed not to accept any offerings.
