England beat New Zealand by 7 wickets to storm into T20 WC Final

New Zealand’s unbeaten run in the T20 World Cup, has finally come to an end, as they lost to England by 7 wickets in the 1st semifinal to storm into the final. Jason Roy took the game away from the Kiwis with a scintillating batting performance.

Earlier, New Zealand posted 153/8 in 20 overs. Munro was the top scorer with 46. Kane Williamson (32) and Corey Anderson (28) were the other contributors. Stokes took three wickets.

England rode on the magnificent innings of 78 (44) played by Jason Roy to reach 159/3 in 17.1 overs. Hales (20), Root (27*), Buttler (32*) were the top scorers. Ish Sodhi took two wickets. Jason Roy was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
