Odisha CM holds meeting with Foreign Envoys over Make in Odisha Conclave

naveen-patnaikChief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday met ambassadors of over 20 countries in New Delhi ,  seeking their cooperation to invite investors from their countries to attend the upcoming ‘Make in Odisha’ Conclave in Bhubaneswar, scheduled to held in Bhubaneswar from November 30 to December 2.

Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj inaugurated the meeting, held at Jawahar Bhawan in New Delhi.

Chief Minister invited Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to attend the plenary session of the investors meet on December 1 as the Guest of Honour. He is hopeful of more investments in Odisha. Various ambassadors have agreed to attend the Conclave.

Odisha has prepared to showcase over 125 projects at the upcoming mega event.

The objectives of the conclave are to highlight investment opportunities, manufacturing ecosystem in Odisha and elicit investment intentions from the corporate.

Odisha government has planned to conduct road shows in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Pune on October 25-27 and in Delhi in the first week of November with an aim to discuss with potential investors in this regards.
