Chinese stocks close mixed

Beijing, Dec 2: China’s stocks closed mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 2.33 percent to close at 3,536.91 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index gained 0.87 percent to close at 12,186.27 points, Xinhua reported.

The ChiNext Index, which tracks China’s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, dipped 1.58 percent to close at 2,613.26 points.  (IANS)
