Markets open on a negative note; BSE Sensex at 23,569 Points

Mumbai, Feb 19: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Friday opened on a negative note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after opening at 23,640.32 points also the morning trade’s high and a low of 23,508.36 points.

On Thursday, the BSE Sensex closed at 23,649.22 points. The BSE Sensex is trading at 23,569.35 points down by 79.87 points or 0.34 percent.

Ont the other hand the broader 50-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 7,170.55 points after closing at 7,191.75 points on Thursday. The Nifty is trading at 7,164.95 points in the morning.  (IANS)
