Exit Polls make Yogendra Yadav eat humble pie

ONI Bureau: Leading Psephologist and Swarajya Abhiyan President Yogendra Yadav, who made a startling prediction that BJP would be heading for a shock defeat in Gujarat, was taken aback by the exit poll predictions today.

As all Exit Polls predicted a comfortable victory for the BJP led by Narendra Modi in Gujarat, Yogendra Yadav was questioned on his tweet of 3 scenarios in which he had claimed doomsday for the saffron party. And, Yogendra almost conceded saying he had no reasons to disbelieve all exit polls that go the same way.

“Am surprised, but no reason to disbelieve all exit polls, since they all point in the same direction. We can’t still be sure of seats, but it seems clear that BJP enjoys an edge in Gujarat”, he tweeted.

Yogendra Yadav, who had shot into fame as a Psephologist, had got things right in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh polls. But, it seems he got things wrong in Gujarat this time.
