Maharashtra AAP Leader Anjali Damania quits Party

Anjali-DamaniaSenior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader from Maharashtra, Anjali Damania has quit the the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), raising banner of revolt in the party. The move came in the wake of reports that AAP is mulling expelling Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan from the party.

“I quit.. I have not come into AAP for this nonsense,” Anjali Damania tweeted.

Referring to party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, she said: “I believed him.. I backed Arvind for principles, not horse-trading.” Meanwhile, Yogendra Yadav has sought a probe into all allegations against him by the internal Lokpal of AAP.
