Oil Espionage: 5 Top Corporate Executives Arrested

The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police arrested 5 top Corporate honchos tonight, taking the number of arrested people in connection with the petroleum ministry espionage case to 12.

The top five executive held, include Vinay Kumar (DGM, Essar Oil), Subhash Chandra (Senior Executive, Jubilant Energy), Shailesh Saxena (Manager, Corporate Affairs, RIL), Rishi Anand (DGM, ADAG) and KK Naik (GM, Cairns India).

These top corporate people were reportedly hand in glove with senior journalist Santanu Saikia and entrepreneur Prayas Jain, who have been running Energy Consulting Firms in India and Australia respectively.

The Crime Branch FIR revealed that apart from Petroleum Ministry, Coal and Power Ministries were also targeted by the spies. Also, some budget papers are suspected to have been leaked. More arrested are likely over the next few days.
