Woman Robbed and Stabbed to Death in Delhi

An elderly woman was robbed and murdered by unidentified assailants at her west Delhi home Monday, police said. Police said Sulochna, 58, was present along with her five-year-old grandson at her home in Punjabi Bagh locality around 11 a.m. Monday when a group of assailants barged into the house and held her hostage in a room.

When she resisted the intruders, they stabbed her many times and fled with valuables and cash, police said.  She was taken to hospital where she died during treatment. (IANS)
