Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma starrer Bollywood movie, ‘PK’ failed to enter the Rs 100 crore club in the opening weekend (three days), which was achieved by ‘Dhoom 3’ and ‘Happy New Year’. But, the film made into the club on Day 4 with its collections reaching Rs 116.63 crore.
‘PK’ earned Rs Rs 26.63 crore on Day 1 followed by Rs 30.34 crore on the second day and Rs 38.24 crore on the third day, which was a record. In the opening weekend, ‘PK’ got Rs 95.21 crore. On Day 4 on Monday, it collected Rs 21.42 crore.
The movie, which received a thumbs up from the fans and critics, was released in 5200 screens in India and 800 abroad. There is some bad news for the movie as well. An FIR has been filed against the makers of the movie for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments. Secretary of Hindu Legal Cell, Prashant Patel, has claimed that ‘PK’ has portrayed Hindu Lord Shiva in a bad light.
