18th Annual Athletic Meet of KIIT University Concludes

The 18th Annual Athletic Meet of KIIT University was concluded on the other day in Bhubaneswar.

The two day event from 15th to 16th January was organized in KIIT stadium.

All sports and Athletic Events for undergraduate levels were held on 15th while on 16th it was held for for the University students.

In men’s category Subham Sikarwar, 3rd year Electrical B. Tech student of KIIT declared as champion and Pallab Saha Roy a second year Electrical B. Tech student was declared as Runners up.

In undergraduate level men’s category Pritam Kumar Sahoo becomes Champion while Tuna Sahoo of ITI and Prakash Hansdah of Diploma jointly become runners up. Similarly in women’s category Sakshi from MBA becomes the Champion while, Rapaswini Biswal of Nursing becomes the runners up.

In undergraduate women’s category Pramila Sahoo of Diploma becomes the champion, while Rani Tudo of ITI becomes the runners up.

Inaugurating the event Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS encourages the students by emphasizing sports and games along with study. Prof P. P. Mathur, VC, KIIT University, Dr. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar were also present both in inaugural and valedictory of Annual Athletic meet.
