8th Design carnival kicks start at KIIT University

The Indian Institute of Architects, Odisha Chapter launches its 8th annual event “Design Carnival” in  at Kiit University today. The event will witness a large congregation of Architects, Planners, Thinkers, Artists, Engineers and Policy Makers from across county and architecture students from various Architectural colleges of state.

On this auspicious occasion Mr Sanjay Dasburma Minister of State, Food supply and consumer welfare, Government Odisha inaugurates ceremony on the presence of C.S.  Kumar (Secretary and Commissioner), P.P Mathura, Vice Chancellor KIIT University, S.S Samanta, Registrar KIIT University, Prof S.S Ray Director School of Architecture and Planning. Mr. Akshya Kumar Beuria National council member Indian School of Architect delivered welcome address. Hon Vice- Chancellor of KIIT University felicitates the guest on this occasion where as Mausumi Nanda gave Vote of Thanks.

Various Workshops such as Design, Clay Modeling, and Manual Rendering will be conducted by experts at KIIT school of Architecture and Planning. In another session students take part in competitions like design, modeling, face painting, sketching, for students of Architecture from all over Odisha will be held. In the evening there will be cultural competitions among Architecture colleges of Odisha.
