Sesa Sterlite observes National Safety Week at Lanjigarh

Sesa Sterlite Limited, Lanjigarh today observed National Safety Day with an objective to ensure that Safety and health are integrated in its work culture and life style and to renew the commitment of its employees towards safety and healthy at work place.

The theme of the day is “March to Safety” and “Build a Safety Culture, for Sustainable Supply Chain”. Speaking on the Occasion Mr K.K.Dave, COO,SesaSterlite Ltd, said, “As a responsible corporate this is our duty to make our staffs and partner staffs aware that safety at work place is of utmost importance. Zero Harm is our target and Lets join hands to maintain the same as previous year. I wish all the employees a safe and healthy National safety Week.”

A “Safety March” is being flagged off by Mr. Bimalananda Senapati –Sr. VP& Head Operation in the presence of other dignitaries like Mr. Jalaj Malpani-CFO, SSL, Mr. Anil Gupta-Head Commerce, D Ravindranath-Head Project and Mr. Amit Joshi -Head HRD .This   begins fromRehab Colony at 08:45 AM and concluded with an “Opening ceremony” in front ofthe Project Office with lots of awareness slogans, Posters.

On the leadership of Mr Rabi Narayan Mishra-Head HSE, SSL, all the employees read safety pledge near Project office. Company will celebrate the entire week from March 4th till March 8th as National Safety Week wherein the organization will hold various competitions for their workers like Slogan ,Safety Skit ,Posters, Safety quiz, Safety models, writing competition, Essay Competitions, drawing etc.
