V.S Vidyalaya celebrates Annual Day

The Annual Day Celebration was organized by V. S. Vidyalaya at Bhanja Mandap in HAL Township on 3rd and 4th of February.  On the first day, Debasish Deb General Manager HAL (SED), was the Chief Guest while Arup Chatterjee, COP (E) was the Guest of Honour and on the second day, Asish Kumar Roy, Chief of Projects, HAL (IJT & S) graced the occasion being the Chief Guest while Rajaram Mohanty, AGM (SED) was the Guest of Honour . Other distinguished guests were senior office bearers of Ladies Club Madam Sarada De, and Kabita Roy, office bearers of A.E.S., N.C. Satpathy, Alok Mohanty and Sachidanad Pati. H. K. Seth, Principal, VSV, delivered the Welcome address and P.K. Mishra, Vice-Principal presented the Annual Report. Honorable Chief Guest, Ashish Kumar Roy, in his address, highlighted on the recent developments in the field of education and elaborated on the changing social scenario of our country.

Starting from LKG to Class XII, all the toppers of the examinations and winners of the literary competitions were given away prizes by the respected guests. Divyadutta Behura of Class XII was awarded with the Best All Rounder Award and Jasmine Panda of XII was awarded with the All Rounder (Runner-up). After the prize distribution ceremony, the budding talents of the school presented the cultural extravaganza on the theme “Relation.”
