Alleged Shiv Sena Cadres paint Sudheendra Kulkarni in Black

Sudheendra-KulkarniSome alleged Shiv Sena activists, who are opposed to a book release event by former Pakistan Foreign Minister in Mumbai throw black inks and paints at former BJP leader Sudheendra Kulkarni, who is organising the event.

Former Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri is going to unveil his book, “Neither A Hawk, Nor A Dove – An Insider’s Account of Pakistan’s Foreign Policy” in Mumbai today. Sudheendra Kulkarni, Chairman, ORF, Mumbai, will moderate the session. AG Noorani, Naseeruddin Shah and Dileep Padgaonkar will be the key Speakers at the event.

The Maharashtra Government has provided full security to the event to be held this evening. The Shiv Sena has opposed the event, claiming Kasuri was responsible for the Kargil War and he should not be given a platform in India to launch his book.

Meanwhile, Sudheendra Kulkarni has vowed to organise the event under any circumstances. “न धमकी से, न बॉम्ब-बंदूक से, न गोली से, बात बनेगी बोली से I #Mumbai supports India-#Pakistan dialogue for peace”, he tweeted.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has assured full security to the book launch event, but warned that no anti-India activities would be tolerated.
