Bihar Polls 2015: Nominations for the 1st Phase begin Today

The filing of nomination papers for the first phase polling in Bihar polls, has begun today. Elections will be held in 49 out of 243 seats in the first phase. Polling in Bihar will be held in 5 phases. The first phase polling will be held on October 12.

The last date for filing nominations for the first phase is 23rd September. The scrutiny of papers will be held on 24th September. Candidates can withdraw their nominations by 26th September.

The BJP has already announced a list of 43 candidates for 1st and 2nd phase and will come up with the second list on September 19. The Congress will announce its first list on September 21. JD(U), RJD and other parties may come up with their lists soon.
