ISRO makes History, successfully launches 5 British Satellites

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully launched 5 British satellites from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 9.58 PM. The satellites were built by Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL).

The PSLV-C28 carried three identical DMC3 optical earth observation satellites, an auxiliary earth observation micro satellite (CBNT-1) and one technology demonstrator nano satellite (De-OrbitSail).
