Nitish to skip Lalu’s Iftar, to attend Sonia’s Party on July 13

After the failure of grand alliance in Bihar MLC polls, the rift between Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav, has widened further. In a new development, Nitish he decided to skip Lalu Yadav’s Iftar Party in Patna to attend the Iftar to be hosted by Congres President Sonia Gandhi on the same day – July 13. It’s a clear indication that Nitish is inching closer to Congress at Lalu’s cost.

Sonia Gandhi has invited almost all non-Congress CMs and leaders, except J Jayalalithaa (Tamil Nadu), Naveen Patnaik (Odisha) and KCR (Telangana). However, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury have expressed their inability to attend Sonia’s Iftar.
