Social activist and spiritualist Rahul Easwar was heckled by a group of students in Alappuzha district, Kerala, for opposing the Beef Festival. His car was vandalised. Easwar vowed to continue his fight against beef consumption despite the attack.
The incident occurred at Milad-e-Sharief Memorial (MSM) College in Alapuzha where Easwar was invited as a Guest Speaker on cyber security.
Cow slaughter and beef consumption are allowed in Kerala, but some Hindu activists are seeking a ban on those. Several public beef parties were held in Kerala by the Communists after the Dadri lynching incident.
