Terror hits Punjab; 6 Killed, Many Injured, Encounter On

In an unprecedented terror attack in Punjab after over 20 years, 2 Policemen and 4 Civilians have been killed. The incident occurred at Dinanagar police station in Gurdaspur.

The terrorists first attacked a state bus and the launched attack on the police station. They are holed up inside the police station now. Additional forces were rushed in to the spot.

At least 5 live bombs were found on the railway tracks of Gurdaspur. BSF and NSG have been alerted. A high alert has been issued across the country. A high level meeting has been called at 10 AM to discuss the situation.
