Unnao Rape case handed over to CBI; FIR against BJP MLA

 

ONI Bureau:  The Uttar Pradesh Government led by Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday decided to hand over the Unnao rape case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

In addition, the CM directed BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar to surrender. Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been booked under multiple sections of the IPC and POCSO, but is yet to be arrested.

CBI will probe the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl in Unnao and death of her father in judicial custody.
