15 New ITIs to come up in Odisha

ITI-OdishaBhubaneswar, Oct 31: To facilitate the unemployed youths and School dropouts to be equipped with skill training appropriate for their employment/self-employment in the emerging Industrial scenario of the State, the Government have decided to establish 15 new Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) under the Craftsman Training pattern out of State Plan budgetary allocation during 12th five year plan.

The new ITIs will be established at Pattangi and Kotpad of Koraput district, Bheden (Baragarh), Kantabanjhi (Bolangir), Parjang (Dhenkanal), Lanjigarh (Kalahandi), Rajkanika (Olavar) of Kendrapara, Badamba (Cuttack), Daspalla(Nayagarh), Karanjia (Mayurbhanj), Balugaon (Khurda), Biramaharajpur (Sonepur), Koida(Sundargarh) and Bansapal of Keonjhar district as notified by Skill Development & Technical Education Department.
