Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday announced that 45 more fire stations will be set up in Odisha this year.
At the closing ceremony of the 72nd Fire Service Week Naveen Patnaik said that Government has sanctioned fire stations for all the blocks in Odisha and till now 290 fire stations functioning across Odisha. Forty five more fire stations will be opened this year end for total 335 in Odisha, highest amongst states.
Mr. Patnaik also inaugurated the Odisha Fire and Disaster Response Academy, Fire Training Institute and Watermanship Institutes accordingly at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri.
