Assembly adjourned till 3 PM over Women Harassment at CM Rally in Sundargarh

The State Assembly on Monday adjourned till 3 pm following ruckus over women harassment at Chief Minister rally in Sundargarh district yesterday.

The Opposition Congress and BJP member alleged that police showed disregard to women participants, asked them to remove black stoles, shawls before entry to a public meeting addressed by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Sundargarh district on Sunday.

Leader of Opposition Narasingh Mishra demanded an apology from Chief Minister in the House.

Unable to run, the Speaker Niranjan Pujari adjourned the House till 3 pm.
