Chhatrapur Murder: BJD asks Golak Mohapatra to come clean

Insight Bureau: Soon after BJP spokesperson Golak Mohapatra hit out at Ganjam SP Ashish Singh and challenged him, BJD’s Rajya Sabha MP Pratap Deb held a press meet and asked him to come clean in this matter instead of trying to bully police officers.

“Let the police do its job. Let the truth come out. Golak Mohapatra must cooperate in the probe and present his case instead of getting personal with the SP. It’s not a healthy trend,” said Pratap Deb.

“Golak Mohapatra must answer why he was in touch with Chhatrapur NAC Councillor Laxmidutta Pradhan’s murder accused even after media reported him as the prime suspect. There is no smoke without fire. As Krushna was arrested from the State Guest House in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, it must be probed who booked the room and facilitated his stay,” he added.
